Managing Banners in Zen Cart.
We assume that you have already logged into Zen Cart.
Click on the Tools link found on the main menu as shown below..

Then click on Banner Manager link, like the one below.

You will see, there are several banners already in our site, let us go ahead and add one.
At the bottom of the page you will find a New Banner button like the one shown below.

Click on it,
You must specify, if the banner is active or not,

You must specify if, when clicking the banner ad, the destination URL will display in a new window.

Select if you would like to ad to display on secure pages without errors.

Give the banner a unique name.

Enter the URL to which the banner points, when a visitor clicks on it.

Assign the ad to an existing banner group or create a new one.

Browse your hard disk for the banner image. Alternatively, if you have already uploaded it to the site, you can specify its location and name here.

Set the sort order for the ad.

Specify if you wish the banner to have a certain start and stop date. Alternatively you can specify its duration by number of impressions.

Press the insert button found on the right bottom like this.

When you press insert, you will be able to see the banner has been successfully added. You will also be able to see the banner is now displayed on the site.
