How to ban users from accessing and using the forums in phpBB

Assuming you have already logged into phpBB. Click on the Users and Groups link found on the main menu.

Then click on the Ban usernames link found on the bottom left side of your screen, under User Security.

Enter the username you wish to ban, you can select the time for the ban to last, it starts from one hour to permanent, then click on the submit button.
