How to use word censoring in phpBB

Assuming you have already logged into phpBB. Click on the Posting link found on the main menu.

Then click on the Word Censoring link found on the left side of your screen, under Messages.

You will see a word censoring page like the one shown below, words added here will be automatically replaced when posted by users.

You will see a screen like this one shown above, you must click on the add new word button found on the right extreme.

You will see a screen like the one shown above, enter the word and with what you would like it to be replaced when posted, then click the submit button.
That’s it, you now know how to use word censoring in phpBB
Now in the action column click on the green icon to edit the censor as shown below.

Enter a new word to replace your word in the replacement box and click submit button. That’s it, the word has been edited. If you click on the red icon in the action column and click “YES” to confirm, you will  successfully be able to delete the censor word.
