Installation of Joomla
Fantastico is a great tool that allows you to easily install Joomla with 2 -3 clicks. It comes free with some hosting servers like Hostgator (which we use to host this site).
This tutorial assumes that you have already logged into the cPanel of your hosting server and accessed the Fantastico application.

Click on the Joomla link found on the Left side menu under CMS
click on the New Installation link You will find yourself in a Joomla installation page.
We can change the install directory here, but it’s recommended that the default is used.
Enter an Administrator user name in the box provided beside the Admin access data and the password below that.
Enter a nick name for the Administrator in the Admin nickname found under the Base configuration.
Enter an email password provided under the E-mail account configuration, when ready click on the Install Joomla button, then click finish installation.  That’s it, we have successfully installed Joomla from Fantastico.
Now let’s take a look at Joomla running on our site, click on the Visit site link found under Current installations, you will see the installed copy of Joomla, now login to the admin area found at the bottom of the screen.
Now login using the administrator username and password, you will enter the admin area of your Joomla installation.
It is from here that you can modify all Joomla settings. You now know how to install Joomla from Fantastico.
